if i got married does my mum need to wear the hejab in front of my husband her son in law?
and for those muslim women already married what was it like when showing your new husband your hair for the first time. where you awkward or embarrassed. how long does it take for newlyweds to feel natural and comfortable with each other.i am a shy person and would always feel embarrassed if i got married. i would like to know when this feeling goes away.

no. because a son in law is a mahrem to his mother in law, just like you do not need to wear hijab in front of your father in law because he is your mahrem. As for the initial feeling of awkwardness, know this is normal and inshallah as you spend time with one another and get to know one another that feeling will become less and less. I cannot give you a time frame, but I think it will be easier if you think positively about it, rather than making yourself nervous too much. Good luck sis
